Good evening . DEM test results came in today and we tested negative for cyanobacteria . We have to have 1 more negative test in a week for the ban to be lifted .The bad news is the state lab is moving and will not be processing any samples for a few weeks . I am going to see if I can take some samples to a private lab for testing . I spoke to DEM about this and hopefully it can be worked out . So the ban is still in effect for now .The lowering of the lake will commence on Columbus Day weekend so haul your boats out before then . We are already down 12″.
